Just when we thought it couldn't get any better - BAM!! - it does. My eternal & heart felt "THANK YOU" to all of you who make Mecca happen. XII was my tenth one. But thanks to all of the "powers that be" of FIB and Mecca, my 10th was just as good and exciting as my 1st. I have said it before, but it BEARs ( hee, hee) repeating -- RaiderMecca is a family reunion that you WANT to attend. My family grew again this year. New brothers and sisters, cousins, etc. ALL with the love for the Raiders. We might not be biologically related, but we ALL bleed Silver and Black.
Enduring a few tough and trying seasons as a Raider fan is hard for all of us. But having Mecca to sustain our loyalty and faith in our Raiders, and to one another in the FIB, makes those same seasons worth the agony. Misery loves company? If that is the case, I hope I never get over my misery. For I have found the best company in the world to console me - MECCA!!!
And for all of the fans of other teams that think they have the best fans - Ask them one question. >>> "Got Mecca?"

Awesome Awsome Awesome my 1st time @ Mecca and my 1st time in Oakland I had the most fun possibe by a raiderfan Raidernator,blitzchick, big lou and bear are now officially family seeing the headquaters holding the trophy beaing on the practice field wow Raider Heaven was more like it! I told my wonderful wife who sent me out there she created a Raider Mecca Monster!! Everyone was awesome the ledgends where so accessable this was some thing I will talk about till my last breath!!! Having attended all XII Meccas, This was bye far the best. I wish to thank those who worked so hard to put this together.
Having my son, win an award ( Jack Boot), and myself the Quartermaster award, was in it's self an amazing thing.
My son who finally got to attend his first Mecca was so amazed, he said it was the experience of his life.
Every one who we partied with were totally amazing. My son wants to make this his annual vacation when he is in this country.
To those newbies who I introduces the Black Hole Shooters to, and the vetrens who also enjoyed them, God bless you. lol
I will not attempt to thank all of the friends I reunited with, and newbies who I met for the first time, but this was the Best Mecca ever!
the ledgends party ,and tour were a large success, and all of the BBQ's were amazing.
So in ending I would like to thank everyone who put this affair together, also those who attended.

All I can say is see you guys next year. This was one of my Best Experiences Ever. It is funny because my Co-Workers have been saying you should go to more of those...I have been on a High all week and showing off my pictures and telling them all about everyone who attended and the Legends we met and how everything went so smoothly, have some Raiders Fans that were very jealous. I had people say "You went alone?" I said "Heck Yes, I knew I wouldn't be by myself I will be amongst Raider Fans from all around the US & Tokyo that love the Raiders just as much as I do". I would like to Thank all of the "Denfenders of the Shield" for all there hard work getting this together and making me feel welcomed....RAIDER NATION ROCKS!!!!

This year was my 5th Mecca and it was above and beyond the best Mecca yet. I don't know how it will be topped but we have the people that dedicate their time to make this event superb every year. To my Mecca family that come from all walks of life every year. You're what makes this event great year in year out! The events are great but the people are greater! I only wish it could last longer, the weekend seems like a blur. I would like to thank all that attended for making this another successful Mecca!

Someone said it earlier and I concur, "when I thought it couldn't get any better...BAM!"
This was my ninth MECCA and with all the hard work by Q, the Blitz's, Raidernator, Hog, Josh, BeninNJ, Rasputin, etc. Most of the players that converted me to a Raiders fan back in 1972 were here, Otto, Stabler, Biletnikoff, Villapiano. This was THE BEST I've attended AND it could have been even better,
For the first time ever our group didn't go to Ricky's and then we find out Stabler & Villapiano went and hung with the crowd after the Legends party. UNBELIEVABLE!! I would have loved to hear some of the uncensored stories those guys had to tell, Then we missed Hendricks at Fairfield Inn bar! We were right on site and missed it.
Won't miss Mecca as long as I live!

This was my 3rd Mecca, and this was the best so far. Meeting the Legends was great but the Fans who who were there made it even better. Getting to hold and get my picture with the SuperBowl XI trophy was the highlight for me, and there were many highlights from meeting The Legends to Hanging out at the Fairfield.

Mecca XII was my 2nd year and I had a great time. Legends party was awesome, and getting to hold the Super Bowl XI trophy was unreal. Everyone involved with Mecca did a great job, hats off to you. It was also a blast to see people I met last year and meet a bunch of new people. Looking forward to this years. Keep up the good work guys and gals.
